I have 2 (Well, 2 uppers sharing a lower) as of now. A RRA 5.56 Operator 2 carbine, and a SAA 300 16" Blk upper with YHM rail.

Thinking something basic. Anyone do an A1 style dissipator? I love the lines of the A1, but think the 20 inch barrel may be a tad cumbersome.

Or should I do a mishmash, A1 furniture with flattop and a RDS? Likely something small like a T1 or RMR.

God. Why are ARs so addicting.

Prototype dissipator FTW. Had a pic but cannot find it but trigger cocking dissy goodness is nearly impossible to beat

While it will be longer, if you have an A1 profile barrel, it will likely be lighter than the barrels on your other two uppers.  Add in A1 handguards vs. your rails (I don't think either of the rails you mention are particularly light -- could be wrong) and the front-end will be quite a bit lighter.

The YHM rail on the 300blk is a lightweight model. But its a HBAR. The RRA upper is both HBAR and HRail.
