I have 2 (Well, 2 uppers sharing a lower) as of now. A RRA 5.56 Operator 2 carbine, and a SAA 300 16" Blk upper with YHM rail. Thinking something basic. Anyone do an A1 style dissipator? Or should I do a mishmash, A1 furniture with flattop and a RDS? Likely something small like a T1 or RMR. God. Why are ARs so addicting.

While it will be longer, if you have an A1 profile barrel, it will likely be lighter than the barrels on your other two uppers. Add in A1 handguards vs. your rails (I don't think either of the rails you mention are particularly light -- could be wrong) and the front-end will be quite a bit lighter. |
