[ARCHIVED THREAD] - TAKEN 3 (Page 1 of 2)

I was pretty skeptical of a 3rd Taken film, but the trailer looks promising. Gun douche |

The first one was great, but only if you watch the international edited version. The US edited one for some reason is very tame. For example, in the European one he empties the entire magazine into the guy in the elevator, but for some reason in the US version he just shoots him once. There are multiple difference like that where in the EU edit he's shooting guy multiple times to the ground and the US version he's just shooting them once or twice.
The second film was a throw away. I can't really re-watch it over and over like I can the first. I'm hopeful for the third film and will probably go to see it just because how bad can it be? Even Liam's horrible movies are still watchable. |

I wish his family would stop being kidnapped. Well, he won't have to worry about his wife anymore. Lenore. Sigh, and she was so happy with her mega-rich husband. What will the daughter do now, seeing as she is too stupid to exhale on her own. I am going to call Taken 4, Liams dog is taken and he stops at nothing to get it back. |

I'll watch it. First one was sick, second one sucked, and I'm hoping they recognized that. I don't give a shit about his politics and hypocrisy...An actor who does not support the 2A is not some anomaly. Shit, most quality actors don't. Nothing new or extraordinary about that.
The beauty with our country (right now, anyway), is that he can have both of those things. Dude gets paid to entertain and he's fairly decent at it. As such, even if he was a state senator, his politics and hypocrisy would also be nothing earth shattering. |

Liam Neeson will endorse your particular set of skills on LinkedIn if he thinks you're a fit:
http://www.avclub.com/article/liam-neeson-might-endorse-your-particular-set-skil-213065 If what you have is a very particular set of skills, skills you have acquired over a very long career—skills like familiarity with SQL databases and proficiency in Microsoft Office—then 20th Century Fox and LinkedIn, on behalf of the upcoming Taken 3, have a contest for you. In a YouTube video announcing the contest, Liam Neeson, in character as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent he plays in the Taken film series, explains that he will send the winner a video of himself endorsing the “particular set of skills” he or she has listed on LinkedIn. Any U.S. resident 18 or older who follows the official Taken 3 page on LinkedIn will automatically be entered; the winner will be chosen “based on their fit with Bryan Mills and his Security International team.” I expect a bunch of arfcom badasses to enter.
