Hey it goes bang, it works exactly as designed.
You should be wearing eyepro, even when someone invades your house at 3am, don't you know anything? If you are and its irritating just how the hell are you gonna function when bombs are going off in your face or (insert some other shit that'll never happen)? They fixed it til it broke and everyone refuses to admit it. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

gen 4? Yep There's your problem. Either send it to the factory with a complaint, or look into swapping parts on your own. Gen4 Brass-To-Face (BTF) is a known problem, ditto some later Gen3 pistols (oddly, the ones roughly coinciding with the Gen4 release...). There are fixes out there; lots of folks have had good luck with different factory parts. Some needed aftermarket help, and some needed actual machining done (the latter being extremely rare, even among the problem guns). You're lucky that yours showed the problem up front, rather than after 2000 rounds or so. |

Make sure you have the newest parts available. .. call Glock with your serial number handy. If they want to inspect and update it, bitch until they agree to lay the shipping.
If it's a 9mm, see if the side of the ejector has a 30274 (updated) or 336 on the side. |

Glock isn't perfection. There are fanbois here that will say that the brass flying in your face is OK, as long as the gun is a Glock, because it's a Glock. IMHO, its a major flaw. You're not shooing it wrong most likely. I have had the same problems with Gen 3 and 4 Glock 19's and 17's.

It's a known problem with gen 4 and later gen 3 guns. Switch to the 30274 ejector, and if that doesn't work call glock and make them fix it.
My glock 19 did it bad until I got the updated ejector, stovepiped once a magazine too. I still get one to the face every few hundred rounds, but I shoot the gun so well at this point I don't want to get rid of it. |

Hah, my first Glock is recent, a Gen 4 model 19, and it threw some rounds back at me.
Shot 100 rnds of WWB through it flawless yesterday, I was surprised! I anticipated picking up brass at my feet, but instead was a few yards back! I expect CZ to be about 10 yards back. I guess I finally man-handled pistol! |
