| The directions say either way is fine. There is a specific section that is recommended to have powder solvent applied if you wish. It is pretty nasty wet though as it sprays solvent all over as it exits, due to the tight fit. It is best (IMO) to use them dry to remove the larger "chunks" of powder fouling while at the range, then actually [u]clean[/u] the firearm when you get home, using traditional methods. (They do not thoroughly clean the bore, they just make it a little better.) |
