Dr. James Dobson just compared the two, or so I think so. I don't think an AIDS initiative in Africa is going to work, simply because the Africans don't really want it. What's your take on it? Edit: I realized I should mention that he was the guest on Larry King Live. |

IIRC, Their cure for AIDS is raping teenage and younger girls. Somehow they got it in their mind that this will cure them. Edited: This should have said: I read that somewhere these people got it in their minds that having sex with the youngest girls they can find would cure them. IIRC. They have heard stories that sex with a virgin will cure them from aids. Since they marry young to begin with, that makes the only virgins children. A lot of child/infant rapes occure because of this. From what I've seen they are looking for anyway to stop the problem from spreading and would welcome any assistance. I don't think there is any way to stop the epidemic over there but with help they could slow it down. |
