That movie has been on broadcast tv here a couple of times in the last few months.

Pretty good movie.

Awesome movie. The scene where the rail yard was bombed was mostly filmed using a real rail yard with real explosives...and it shows. They destroyed a number of locomotives for the movie as well.

Back before film makers used fakeass CGI for everything...

Why, yes...yes it is.
Burt took great pains to learn as much as he could as far as the operation of the train went, as well as to be able to do that scene. He did all his own stunts.
He got hurt on a day off from filming, stepping into a hole on a golf course and agravating a leg injury. It gimped him up so bad, that they altered the script to have him get shot in that leg, and he finished filming with a very bum looking leg.
