It's Wednesday morning during business hours and the forums page shows over 1000 guests.  Can we be getting that popular?

I noticed that at 8:30 this morning as well.

Something is not right.  The Equipment Exhange Forum is at a stand still.  I've been trying for a couple of hours and can't get any of the pages to open up.

I think its time again to get rid of the lurkers.
And lower the number to 800.

If they don't have an account and log on,
then they can't surf the pages.

I thought it might be another attack too, but I haven't had any more than the usual amount of firewall alerts. This board is really slow and some posts I can't open at all.

Lets just get rid of lurkers.... or drastically reduce the number.

I mean, how hard is it to sign up?  I am getting tired of my one and only web forum I read always being sooooo slooooooow, or unreadable.

I would hate to see it put off new people from signing up tho.....

I would easily give up AR15.com photo hosting, and limit the number of anonymous connections to near nothing, if it meant the speed would come back.

Either a large number of people just retired, got laid off today or the boss at work is out of town.

I also noticed that the total number of members keep changing.  It's now up to 103,934.  That doesn't sound right.

Maybe we're playing Psyops with the the lurkers?
