So I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I'm not in a spot where I can easily look this up. I sent a glock to, oddly enough, Glock to have a frame replaced (my fault). I paid the fee to replace it, and they said they are going to send it back. They said the new frame will have a new serial number.

Can they send me a new serialed receiver? I realize it is a warranty repair by the factory and that normally means they can just send it to me, but if they replace the receiver, it's a new gun. Wouldn't that have to go through an FFL?

I had my frame replaced on my G21sf because it was one of the ones with the ambi mag release that would stick.  It has a new SN and they sent it to my front door no problem.

They sent a new frame(whole gun actually) directly back to me after my frame cracked. It had a new serial number. You will be good to go.

Sent back two G21sf with bad ambi mag release. Sent one about a year ago and absent one a few weeks ago. First time received a new firearm wih matching serial numbers and second time a gen4 g21 brand new. Just set on the form that you want a new gun and matching serial numbers. They will send the gun straight to your house.

I've read of glock sending it to an ffl and others to the owners home.

If the FFL sends it it will be shipped back to the FFL.

You ship it for repair, it comes back to you. Zero fucks given about serial #s as far as I know.
