Well, I was working on getting my Private pilots license finished up this last fall when my job loss and things of that nature caused me to stop.

With the Columbia accident this morning, I realize just how much I love flying, and want to make sure I can do it more than just on my Guard weekends.

Anyway, despite finances, I think I'll go ahead and get back to work finishing my license up ASAP.

Yeah, dont let finances get in the way of things you have a lot of passion for and interest in.  You'll end up hating yourself and your life if you comprimise on something that important.

Go for it! I've regretted not taking flying lessons. When I was in the AF I could have had a licence for next to nothing thru the base flying club. Oh well, in retrospect the six packs weren't worth it. Do it!
