As a lifelong Giant fan I came to the realization  in August they would win 7 games at best , I take comfort knowing that  at some point Romo will make a mistake that will cost the Cowboys a playoff game

Cuz he finally has some blocking

I'll take a good O line withal mediocre QB any day
And Romo is far from mediocre

Another lost season for me

I'm pretty sure the whole division isn't meh.  Giants and Redskins...yeah pretty meh.  Eagles and Cowboys appear to be for real.

Hmmm...lets see.

Here's what I thought.

I thought the Cowboys defense would be better than last year's historically bad (3rd worst defense in NFL history).  Even with losing D.Ware - who I felt was horribly overrated ($16 million for what's going to be a 10-12 sack season is the definition of overpaying - and he's only going to get that many sacks because he has Von Miller on the other side) for the past few years and Hatcher, I felt they were going to be better.  Until they lost Lee, then I started to doubt a little bit...but even then I figured the DB's and DL would be better this year.

The Cowboys went 5-1 in the division with that horrible defense.  I figured they had a good shot of winning the division this year...with a 9-7 record or a 10-6 record, maybe.

After the first game, with Tony Romo looking horrible, I thought they might be lucky to win 5 games.

But yeah, looking at this team now, I see a 12-4, maybe 13-3 team.  They've won games they should have lost.  They've physically dominated supposedly more physical teams at the line of scrimmage all year (Seattle, Rams, 49ers - that was a Romo loss).

I think the Cowboys are better, more complete than the Eagles.  But the Eagles are dangerous because they find ways to win.  Weird ways.

Good job I withdraw my BS call

While dealing with the Giants massive personel turnover (39 guys? I'm close but don't quote me) I saw a lack of experience on the lines and youth at skill positions
I would take 500 pre season

Eagles get a great deal from special teams and D

For what it's worth I'm not a mortal Dallas hater
Philly in the other hand ... Fugetaboudit!!!

ETA Bryant kicked Amukamaras ass today probably anybody covering him

Philly's O line is almost as bad and unpredictable as te Giants , they won two games due to special teams play , McCoy has been average at  best , It kills me to say it but the Cowboys are head and shoulders above the rest of the division and looking like the class of the NFC

I actually like the Giants except when they are playing the Cowboys.  The Giants will always have a place in my heart for their victory over the 18-0 Patriots.  Literally, I think the best Superbowl of all time. I was actually remembering the end of that game during a drive today and my wife asked me why I was smiling.  I had watched a pre-Superbowl show where Bill Parcels matched up the Patriots against every other Superbowl winning team of history, and the Patriots were always the better team.  85 Bears.  78 Steelers.  72 Dolphins.  93 Cowboys.  And then, the end of the game, 18-1.  Couldn't even beat the wildcard Giants.

If there is one team and city I loathe, it's Philadelphia.
