People bought high and are now trying to sell to get some of their money back. Its the only explanation for a 1000 dollar mini 14 |

I have a rifle that I probably have about $1600 in that I built myself. If I needed to sell it I know the most I'd probably get is $900.
But if someone tried to convince me to sell it to them I don't think I'd let it got for less than 2 grand because it was the first AR I ever built myself, so they'd have to pay enough to over come my personal sentimental value. That's also why I'm not trying to sell it. I sell semi trailers for a living, and I get guys with 18 year old trailers wanting 5 grand more than they're worth so it's not just a gun thing. People are strange when it comes to used goods. |

Fired 50 times to sight in, shoots MOA with Varmint ammo Sounds like some of the Fudds around here right before deer season. I emailed the guy with the mini 14 to ask him why his was worth $400 more than a brand new one. And to top it off it's a 182 series, you know it's at least 20+ years old. |
| I've had everything from old body armor, a Mini-14(trade ya straight up!!), to a stolen PVS-14, offered to me for my SOCOM 16. I thought about the NV until I did a little asking around. When I asked for clear pictures of the tube serial # the guy vanished. I figure it was either a CID fishing expedition, or he knew I was going to run the number through them if he sent it. Either way, go peddle your probably-stolen-from-Ft. Campbell NV gear elsewhere. |
I find it funny comparing the level of interest in listing nice hunting rifles versus "tactical", well, anything. Listed a nice Mauser .375 H&H, at a very, very reasonable price, and got one response, and a lowball at that. Later that day, listed a generic AR, and you would've thought it was the last one ever made. Several responses weren't wanting to buy it, they just felt it necessary to tell me "hey, you know you can get several hundred more than you're asking, right?" Within a week, that one response on the .375 was it. The AR? 35 hits.
