The Election is 25 Days from today.
I'm a Registered Voter. Why aren't you 
(Foreign Nationals and those underaged are exempt from tonights rage.) I have a cousin that is Legitimately on Welfare. (Really.) Twice a year she has to send in paperwork explaining why she should continue to receive Benefits. And Every Time the packets of forms comes to her there are Two Sheets of paper helping her to Register To Vote. Without fail she receives Voter Registration Paperwork. Arfcom, on the other hand, has had Threads that wanted to Restrict those were able to vote. As an examples: Even though I was once wearing The Nations colors as a Member of The Armed Forces, a Certain Arfcomer said I was NOT fit to vote. A more recent thread said I had to own land in order to vote. I remember when I was in Grade School to Junior High School and we were renting homes. Looking at all the painting I had to do I can verily say that we took better care of the houses than the person we rented from. So what does merely owning property have to do with my fitness to vote? The last person we rented from was a MD kind of Doctor that lost his license. In the New York City's borough of Manhattan there is arguably the smallest piece of Real Estate: More or less an foot square in size. Every year its owner pays real estate tax on it. Only a few cents each year, but it is For Real. Back in the 1950's (?) there was an article in Life Magazine. People were buying patches of land in Texas Oil Country. Each patch of land was a mere two inches square. Seriously. Two inches by two inches. The article showed an example of its actual size for the readers. The payoff for those investor is if there really WAS oil underneath their tiny plot of land. Should every person that is a Member of Armed Forces be forced to buy a tiny two by two plot of land so they can vote?  Maybe even smaller
Now YOU Tell me: Who is more worthy of being able to Vote: The idiots who shelled out for a tiny piece of land or my Mother, who as a Single Working Mother, proved she was a better person than that "Doctor" who lost his license
Is there any legitimate Question why the Democraps keep getting more votes than Republicants? What's keeping you from voting this year? (Beside cowardice?) |
