| So, what's a good starter quadcopter for someone who has never flown one. I"m looking for something to annoy the hell out of my cat, so it has to be durable. |

I've been in RC for almost 30 years and have a decent amount of experience with quads.
I would start small, from a name brand company. Both of the ones below can either be flown with the included transmitter or you can step up to a high quality transmitter if you find you really get sucked into the hobby. Two I can easily recommend would be the Blade Nano QX-Can fly off of Spektrum transmitters. http://www.horizonhobby.com/blade-helicopters/nano-qx-rtf-with-safe-reg%3B-technology-blh7600 And the new Dromida Ominus which can fly off of a Tactic SLT transmitter. http://www.dromida.com/air/dide01xx-ominus/index.html Then watch the Flite Test video on how to learn to fly a quad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6btEFJJD4_o |
