Careful.

Joan Rivers said that a couple of months ago on video and look what happened.

I heard it would be some woman named Monica Lewinsky.  She already knows her way under the desk.

Basic ticket-balancing rules would apply.

The VP nominee (with Hillary) cannot be:

1. Another woman. That rules out Elizabeth Warren.

2. From the same state. That rules out Andrew Cuomo.

3. From the same ideological wing of the party. Since the Clintons are perceived to be "Third Way" Democrats, that means the ticket-balancing candidate would have to be from the left wing of the party.

4. Another white person. Has to be black or Hispanic.

5. From a state that is not in play (such as California) or that has few electoral votes (such as Delaware or Maryland). That rules out Jerry Brown, Joe Biden, or Martin O'Malley.

I'll toss out the name of Julian Castro. Seems to meet most of these criteria (except that Texas is not really in play).
