I am hopelessly clueless on most computer stuff.  I am trying to run the demo for the BHD game from Novalogic.

I get the error on start up from windows.

"D3D8.DLL File is linked to missing export DDRAW.DLL:DdEntry12."

I am running a 1.4 with a GEForce II Ultra card (which 5 minutes ago I just downloaded the latest drivers)  This is the second demo I have downloaded with this error.  First time, I thought the demo was bad.  Now I realize that I am broke.
Help me get my AR-15 fantasy fix!
thanks

What version of DirectX do you have?

It's always those GD .dll files.  I feel your pain.

There should be a DirectX folder in your program files directory.
You prolly need 8.0 to play the demo.
Ill post a link.

Looks like 9.0 is out

Glad to help, hows the demo?

The demo is pretty cool. Nice graphics if you have a good system. Parts of the mission seemed kind of arcadish with the enemy. Not as realistic as say Rainbow 6 is but overall i'll be looking forward to its release.

Is it based on the engine from the Delta Force games?

Downloaded it last night and played a little.  It looks great.  Excellent graphics.  I've always been a big fan of Delta Force 1,2,3, and Task Force Dagger.  I can't wait for BHD.
