Do you guys think that 9/11 will ever become a national holiday for a day of remembrance?

I was in basic training 9/11/02 and they read a speech from George Bush declaring 9/11 "Patriot's Day" but haven't heard anything about it since.

No reason for it to be. We've got enough holidays without taking more days off work. In addition, all that would do is turn into a vacation for most people, they wouldn't be remembering what it was actually for.
