I ordered two Home phone cards last Thursday at Walmart.com for a total of $30. I paid for it with my debit card. Thursday night I get an email that Walmart,co had cancelled the order. No reason was given bur they wrote in the email that no money was charged to my account. So I checked my checking account and found out that they did charge my checking account and now I had $30 dollars tied up at Wall World. I contacted Walmart.com and was told at first that no money was charged to my checking account since the transaction failed the security check by the bank. I told them that they had taken $30 from my checking account and they were mistaken saying that the security info was wrong. When they checked they again told me that they did not charge my account for $30 since the order was voided and cancelled by them. I spent almost 2 hours by phone going from one person to another and one Stupidvisor to another and finally to the MOD who would not help me but told me that the $30 would be return to me in 5-8 working days unless I have my bank have a three way phone call and clear this up. So I did. The first hung up on my bank after 35 minutes of waiting, they then finally after another 35 minutes talk to my bank and with me to approve the return of the $30 to my account. That was done and my account was corrected. On Saturday Walmart.com did it again and took $30 out of my account for no reason or approval by me. I had not contacted or purchased anything from them. I called my bank and placed a complaint against Walmart.com. I told my bank that this was a repeat of December 2013 in which I had the same exact issue with Walmart.com. But then. I was getting Customer Support Emails with links to Russian sites. Just found out from my Niece that she just had the same problem with her account on Wednesday. Looks like Walmart.com has a problem again and they are covering up again. I have only received one email fron Walmart.com Customer Support and it was basically blank with no account info. That is strange all by itself. Please. Check all your orders and payments to Wally World made by bankcards in the last week. |
