I just like Tommy Lee Jones films. To this day I still want to know where Melquidades was REALLY from! And why was the village he talked about just a pile of stones in an otherwise empty meadow?? |
Working my way thru "Three Burials". Hafta say, don't really see why he would get so bent about a vaquero he had working for him being murdered that he would kidnap a federal agent, commit several other heavy felonies, and basically throw his life away? Were they really that good friends? Cool movie, like Tommy Lee as an actor, but srsly?

I remember distinctly saying "best picture of the year" after the screen went dark at the end. It's an excellent film yet pales in comparison to the book. If you have never read Cormac McCarthy, I highly recommend him.
"Child of God" was made into a film by James Franco, and the previews look like it is pretty faithful to the book; it's a disturbing story to say the least. "The Road" was a pretty good adaptation, as well. |

Why isn't this shit on Netflix? Because Netflix's CEO Reed Hastings wanted a 1.5 Million dollar raise and a gave himself one instead of spending the money to buy new films. Corporate America! |

Marlon Brando was the judge, Johnny Depp was John Glanton, and Leonardo DiCaprio was "the Kid." http://www.salon.com/2014/06/25/james_franco_stanley_kubricks_blood_meridian_is_the_perfect_western_for_these_times_partner/ |

Maybe Ridley Scott will eventually make it. Cast John Sharian as the Judge, please. |

Franco released a 25 minute Blood Meridian test film starring Scott Glen as Tobin.

Just a FYI or WTF ![]() I like the movie, but the technology flaws are distracting. - Why all the ductwork between the hotel rooms? - A 1980 era RF micro transmitter, with a battery that lasted for days? - Air tank that never needs a refill? - Anton covers his hands with gasoline, lights a Zippo, but his hands don't burn. Then the car explodes, but the gas tank is intact... |
