You have just given Prostate Cancer Awareness Month as much media attention as it will get.  Breast Cancer Awareness Month will start being promoted next week and will run until mid-November with near nonstop coverage.

I'm actually surprised September isn't celebrated as "Male Specific Cancer Deaths Celebration Month".

I don't know about anyone else, but I am personally sick of seeing everything that isn't

supposed to be pink - PINK ...and most things that should be pink are not pink.

Very surprised that "manly" organizations like the NFL go all out "pink" in October.... and yet not a single mention of prostate cancer or hint of blue allowed in September.

Even though 1 out of 6 guys on every NFL team will develop prostate cancer, and every NFL team will have at least 1 or 2 players on this year's roster who will eventually die from it - and it's an even higher rate for African-Americans.

I never really thought about it like that, but it is crazy how that works.
