the united arab emirate and egypt just bombed libya. are we completely losing control of anything going on on that side of the world? russia invades ukraine. syria is in open civil war. isis seizes northern iraq and eastern syria. and now eqypt and the uae band together to take out militants in libya? if the stock market crashes we are right on the brink of world war 3 not much long after.

Been going on about a week. CAIRO — Twice in the last seven days, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have secretly launched airstrikes against Islamist-allied militias battling for control of Tripoli, Libya, four senior American officials said, in a major escalation of a regional power struggle set off by Arab Spring revolts. The United States, the officials said, was caught by surprise: Egypt and the Emirates, both close allies and military partners, acted without informing Washington, leaving the Obama administration on the sidelines. | We use our weaponry to blow up the weaponry that we gave the Libyans in the MAP program back in the day. Then we give the Libyan rebels more weaponry and teach them how to use it. Then we have the Egyptians use the weaponry that we gave them to blow up the weaponry that we gave the Libyans. It is just like in Iraq and Afghanistan. |

Libya: Egypt and UAE doing something about bad shit in their own backyard - finally. Why should we have to address every problem there? Libya has been unraveling for a while now. Syria: One of the biggest military threats in the region and a huge threat to Israel has spent two years tearing itself apart. Not crying over that one either. Ukraine: I sympathize with the Ukrainians, BUT they opened the door to Russia when the last gov't toppled and chaos ensued. Ukraine is playing checkers and Russia is playing chess. Also, literally in Russia's backyard. The Crimea grab was shitty, but a functioning Ukrainian government could have prevented that from happening in the first place. I heard the US now has the guy that beheaded Foley in custody, anyone else hear that? Wonder why it isn't bigger news... |

0bama was the main force behind the Arab Spring. That set up the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. They wised up and tossed their asses out. 0bama snivels about it, demands they be reinstated. Egypt says "Fuck You" They bomb Libya with The United Arab Emirate, and don't give 0 a heads up. The United States of 0bama, is left sucking it's thumb. Elections have consequences , and we as a country, are reaping the results.
