It destroys Indian curry.  Beef Panang curry is the best curry.

Thai is slightly sweeter then Indian. More lemongrass and celery juice in it, I believe. I might be off on that somewhat.

Indian curry is superior. Thai curry is way too sweet.

I don't like my curry to taste like a coconut colada.

My buddy from Trinidad has curried goat at his parents place for every large gathering. Delicious.

I love curry. As for restaurants, I prefer Thai.

Hmmm...the places around here, the only way to get really good spicy curry is at the Thai joints.

Love Curry. It has to make you sweat when you eat it though. I prefer Indian curry over Thai. The Thai curries I have had have been bland and floated in coconut milk.

I've only had a handful of curries but so far I know I like Indian curry but not so much chinese curry dishes.  The last time I tried chinese curry chicken it was like eating bland sawdust with a hint of garlic.

It kicks ass.

Phanaeng Beef is the best, but the yellow curry (Kaeng Kari) is also very good.

Just spent 2 weeks in Nanded village outside of Pune.  I absolutely loved the food.  It is certainly a different world over there.

I always thought curry was horrible until I had the real thing.  I am hoping to duplicate the the chicken curry I had over there.

I head out to Taichung city Taiwan in another few days for a couple weeks, I am looking forward to that as well.

FYI I have never been much of a "cultured" person and India was my first overseas trip.

Any recommended dishes while I am in Taichung?

Get the Panang beef. Don't bother with any of the other curries till you try that first.

The others are all very good, and slightly different than other asian curries, but the panang beef is something very different and delicious.

Now the problem is that there are two different versions of this stuff. One is a bit thinner with more of a herbal taste, it's very good but it isn't the king of curries. The other has ground peanut paste mixed in, this is the one you want. it is thick and rich and to be quite honest the stuff makes my dick hard.
