Well, if he were independently wealthy, then maybe he liked killing bad guys a bit much. Otherwise, if it was his sole means of support, then he enjoyed his job and the bounty from it.

Tarantino made great flicks, but what he has been putting out for the last 10 years is shit. Kill Bill was awful and everything afterward has been equally as bad.
