i just picked up a 20 inch barrel for a build.after i installed it i noticed that the fsb was canted.so i removed the fsb to align it and found that the gas port is misaligned also.the fsb was positioned over top of the hole,however it was way out of whack!what should i do???chop saw vid!

Look at the barrel extension and see if it is centered in the receiver.
It's possible the whole barrel is twisted. This happens when the barrel nut is overtorqued and/or with no grease. Remedy is to remove the barrel and reinstall it, this time with grease and not overtorquing. |
