Every woman should know in the first few weeks whether they want a baby or not. After a month or so that should be it. And late term abortion is murder as far as I'm concerned. Any woman that wants a late term abortion should be forced to give the baby up for adoption.
This conversation will be less important over time as the morning after pill is available now, over the counter. This conversation should has other aspects though....Father's being required to take care of children they did not choose to have for one... |

So are you volunteering to raise the kids that can no longer be aborted or have your taxes increased to cover the cost? The feel good answer is always nice but when the time comes no one will step up. We can't even place the existing children in the system but hell let's add more. My family had 9 children with 6 of them being adopted and it put a great strain on my parents but they are happy they did it and I'm greatful for my siblings. However this is no where near the norm. |

abortion is killing.
that being said, sometimes killing is OK for defensive purposes. I think if - life of mom threatened - result of rape and/or incest - fetus not viable on their own. My bro/sis in law aborted their child at 6 months. Baby formed without a brain. there was a stub of a brain stem, just enough to keep the heart/lungs going, but literally a skull full of amniotic fluid. Doctors said the baby would not ever have a thought, open it's eyes or survive without vent and full life support. They terminated. For me it really breaks down to pain for the fetus. If you want to abort a fetus that's three days old cause you didn't want to use birth control. I wouldn't stop you. You may have to answer to God later, that's your deal. but once the fetus can feel, once killing it causes it pain, that fetus has the right to not be hurt, or attacked or killed. and Abortion should not be legal if it causes that fetus pain. |
