Lately something has been eating up my systems resources. I can't play my music without it sounding like a techno remix and even as I type this their is serious lag time in betwwen when I type the word and when the letters show up on the screen. I have not downloaded anything lately, I have cleared my internet history/cookies/etc., used Ad-Aware to kill my pop-ups, and restarted my computer, so I have no idea what could be causing it. When I run Ad-Aware it says I have 24 resources running, but when I hit ctrl-alt-delete it only lists 11. My OS is windows 98 if that helps. Any ideas on whats wrong and how to fix it? TIA Kyle |
