Peshmerga is the shit, and I hope the Kurds get their own country, they deserve it.

Yep, done deal. Only a matter of time before IS pushes into baghdad and puts the Iraqi army on the run again. Those militias will disintegrate or be slaughtered and IS will push south all the way to the Kuwaiti border.

Then what happens? Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are very different from Iraq. I don't think the coward in chief will be able to sit on his ass and let these countries fall like he did with Iraq. The repercussions would be huge.

I'm in Kuwait right now. I was hoping for a nice long deployment with nothing to do but go to the gym, drink coffee, and masturbate alot ( not at the same time). Now..............I don't know.

When / if they finish Iraq and head to Kuwait the fear on wall street will cause oil to skyrocket under the assumption they will steamroll Kuwait in a week and turn to Saudi.
Just what our economy needs is $6 gallon gas.
I believe we will be fighting on the ground then.

I definitely agree with this.  I would take it a step further and say that if they take all of Iraq or Syria, we'll be fighting.  We'll also be there if they cross into Jordan, unless they only need money.

With their recent attacks on holy sites, KSA may get in on the action, too.  I say that knowing that KSA will, probably, just wait for us to jump in to the ring.  But with Hillary or Elizabeth Warren as President , we may sit this one out.

In the meantime, I'm thinking that IS is going to attempt to encircle Baghdad, and execute what was our game plan in OIF1, if we had to fight our way in.

so now you do not know if you will be masturbating a lot in the gym while you drink coffee?

Am I the only one confused here?

They look professional, but need lots of CAS.

Until the small unit panic of being surrounded but they held up and no surrender.

Good video.

My suggestion is for the State Department/CIA to stop funding ISIS and Al Kay-duh.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  Right now, no one knows the answer since there are too many variables to consider.

Not uncommon.  The guy who worked with us was a big unassuming older man who was not only white-looking, but had no eyebrows.  He'd take us places and people were afraid of him. Not because of his appearance, but they knew who the fucker was.

so we know that ISIS leader has prayer service in a certain place on a certain day? I don't see a problem with a JDAM interrupting that service just saying

I don't think they have the numbers for that and it might not be necessary. If they get close enough to shell/rocket/probe I think there's a good chance the flood of refugees south will take a large number of the IA and militias with it so that they'll be able to grab neighborhoods. Once IS has a good foothold in Mansour and Dura and work their way through all other Sunni areas it is looking like the IA and militias simply won't be able to root them out.

I really do keep hoping that IS just burns itself out or overextends and the IA manages to get it together. I'm really surprised the IRGC hasn't thrown enough guys in to make a difference yet unless they really are scared that the protests in Iran will take off again and they won't be able to cover Syria,Iran and home.

Obviously I'm no IS or IA general;I have no idea what either are hoping to accomplish now. I do think IS has been shocked by their success as much as the IA has been shocked by their failure.
