I stopped listening when the program became all about iced tea and children's books. yeah, I stopped living life when it became all about making money and critical thinking. Sounds like a FSA statement to me. Why would you hate on someone for making money? WTF is he suppose to do?...devote his time for free. I really don't understand why people on this board feel it necessary to blast someone for making a living. |

Nope, too busy at work to pay any attention. What's he ranting about, out of curiosity? Miatas and how they suck. You couldn't wedge him into one, if you covered him in butter and used a crowbar. ![]() That's what he's bitching about.

I quit listening when he got popped for Oxy and Dr shopping. I was a bit miffed about the hypocrisy, given his earlier enthusiastic support of the war on drugs. I kind of hoped he'd come out of the ordeal with a new perspective, and hoped he'd at least moderate his stance a bit. That said, what he did shouldn't have been illegal to begin with. He needed medical help, not a criminal record. |

Basically dismantled the "that's racist" crowd complete with sound bites from an African American friend of his who backed him up on cnn, then got attacked by their "that's racist" shill as the opposing guest. Now he is mocking the left for being afraid of him Iderp edit

I quit listening when he got popped for Oxy and Dr shopping. [yawn] Enjoy the view from those lofty heights? Listen or don't listen, I don't give a damn. But the guy educates and informs a LOT of people every day as to what's going-on in this country. Besides Rush and a few other talk radio hosts (and maybe Stossel on TV), find me a talking head in the MSM out there doing that. |

When Romney was running against McCain, Limbaugh called Romney the greatest conservative ever, compared him to Reagan, and praised his healthcare solution as a conservative victory... Against McCain ...
Limbaugh was right, in that vs. the Democrat overwhelming majority in MA, Romneys plan included (at the time) conservative caveats to protect doctors from malpractice and to force freeloaders to pay *somethng.* Compared to McCain, Romney was slightly less burnt toast... But Limbaugh trashed McCain constantly while *greatly* exaggerating Romney's conservative accomplishments... Romney could do absolutely no wrong, while McCain had never done anything right, per Limbaugh. Fast-forward four years. Romney is in the lead. Obamacare is a primary campaign issue for core-conservatives. Limbaugh (until Romney secured the R nomination) treated Romney as if he was evil incarnate. Limbaugh never repeated (until Romney won the nomination) any of Romneys accomplishments, and trashed him constantly. He had endorsed Romney *early* vs. McCain. And he had openly praised Romney's healthcare plan vs. the Democrat alternative... Openly. But four years later, vs philanderer Gingrich? Vs. total-retard Santorum? They had half-a-century inside-Washington... but against Romney, per Limbaugh, the two decades-in-washington insiders were conservative heroes fighting a dirty party insider, and the retard and philanderer could do no wrong... I like listening to Limbaugh... I honestly do... But he probably thinks we all have short memories. |

Beck's done a lot of good in shining the light on so many of the backroom deal, conspiracies, etc going-on with this administration (and previous ones). I take everything that ANYONE says with a grain of salt... but I appreciate being informed about events transpiring that I didn't know were going-on. Many of the anti-radio-personality crowd here claim to get their news strictly from GD. Cause yeah... that source is so much better...

Now that Jimfnd knows for certain that I was mocking him, the post has lost it comedic touch. Thanks a lot Buzzkillington |

If we could just get everyone into lockstep in regards to major issues, like tax reform, health care, government spending and privacy; we could make serious work in getting favorable changes as long as we ignored those dissenters with differing opinions. Oh wait, that's the Democrats thing. Onto Glenn Beck and Trailers of Joy® ™: I don't have a problem with humanitarian aid to those poor unfortunate child. What I have a problem with, is the fact that any aid "conservatives" supply will be viewed as Obama fulfilling his "promise". Any opposition will make that person look like an evil scumbag dictator, further building loyalty to the people that are promising free shit. The "Right" got hooked on this stupid "compassion" shtick and is willingly whoring itself in order to try and show how it is different from the "Left". When in fact, that is what is being used by the "Left" to build its support |

The "Right" got hooked on this stupid "compassion" shtick and is willingly whoring itself in order to try and show how it is different from the "Left". When in fact, that is what is being used by the "Left" to build its support I don't live my life by any strict adherence what any spelled-out code, nor do I let the opinions and actions of others dictate how I choose to live me life. For me, right is right... and wrong is wrong. I know what each are in my heart and in my head. That's how I live and the only code that I try to live my life by. I haven't jumped on the bandwagon and sent any aid to the illegal immigrant children (aka: PAWNS in the democrap chess game) yet. But I believe that I should help those born into less fortunate circumstances than I, to the best of my ability and to choose when/how/where to help them -- doing so wisely. I'm still pondering my course of action. How I look to democrap liberals and/or repubs or how I figure into their schemes is of little consequence to me. I'm a free man (as free as I can be in this society) and will choose to do what I think is right regardless of the viewpoints of others. I do not fault Glenn in the least for following his own heart and exhorting others to do the same. He's not trying to force me to do anything (unlike democrap legislators). |

There is a difference pitching a product on the show and all the fucking time. His book has been pimped fucking enough, so it's my fucking ears and my rules so I turn the station when turns into home shopping club. |

I don't listen regular, but have off and on since the early '90s. Never recall him talking about the WOD. I've been listening since '90 and don't recall ever hearing that either. I'm sure that it's been mentioned a time or two over the past 2.5 decades as he commented on issues of the day... but Rush was never a crusader for it to my recollection. He had a health issue and got hooked on the opiates prescribed for a while. Oh teh noes!!! All of the information that he shares daily on his show must therefore be false. Cripes some of the people on this site scare me. I wonder if they are TRULY able to live their entire lives 100% in their little black and white boxes. Must be a helluva burden being so... spotless. |
| Speaking of Beck... He tossed out a theory this morning that quite frankly has validity. According to him, all of these illegal's streaming across the border will at one point be declared "refugees," and when enough of them have been collected, this country will have it's own "Palaestinans." The reason to let them stay will be, "We stole their lands, they are only getting whats due them, hence a large voting block that is neither american or Mexican...Or whatever. We'll be in the same boat as Israel. |

There are a LOT of people being told to shut-up while the Administration encourages these refugees to come here and then moves them around to effect its causes. NO conspiracy theory is off the table at this point IMO. |

I listen to him frequently. Yes he is a bit of an ass but that is somewhat endearing. One thing you can't argue is that the left truely hates him with a passion. They have actually tried to have him taken off the air by declaring his program "Hate speech", which after listening to him he seems very careful to avoid saying anything about race. If he has the bad guys that upset then he must be doing something right.
When it comes to Glenn Beck the man is Fing brilliant though he often comes off like a loon. I have dismissed him as a whackjob on multiple occasions only to seem him proven correct later on. I stopped keeping up with what he had to say when he started warning about a Caliphate. And sure enough an army of fanatics go and declare they have started one. |
|
Quoted: he seems very careful to avoid saying anything about race That's because he lost a position as an ESPN commentator after controversial comments about Donovan McNabb.
