Useful for looking up your own neighborhood |

Meh. We use the app for our city. It falls under my responsibility. It connects to the agency's CAD in most cases. Problem is, many times it doesn't update the icon once the the call is cleared. IE: Call comes in for a suspicious call for noises in the house; dispatcher inputs the call as a Burglary In Progress. Once there. officers find out that the own'ers dag had gas and it's NRN (No Report Needed) the the CrimeReports app doesn't update the status ETA: Doesn't work everywhere, as many don't subscribe and the company doesn't have access to their CAD

0 incidents in my area. Not very accurate. I can think of two murders, two arson, two attempted murders, and a burglary in the last 5 years. again - if your department doesn't participate it won't show anything my town looks like a crime-free oasis..... just don't have data for it |

Nothing here but sex offenders. Not that that's good, but...
I know a few of them. They mostly seem to be "23 year old with 17 year old girlfriend" types of deals, and shouldn't be included on the list. There are a few that deserve to be on it, I guess. Truthfully, they deserve far worse than that. |

Probably incomplete data on that map.
I did find this for my county. Latest data is from 2005. 2005 Population 12,590 Murder 0 Rape 2 Robbery 1 Aggravated Assault 14 Total Violent Crime 17 Pretty weird considering the high rate of firearms ownership here. You'd think we'd all be killing one another. |
