So, I came across a Benchmade Infidel Mini and the guys wants to sell it to me for $200. I know there are many fakes out there and he assures me that it isn't. Since I'm a newbie and really don't know what to look for I'm hoping something can help me out. Here are some of the pics of it. Also is $200 a good price?

looks real, but it's kind of beat-looking.
The weighing idea is pretty good. http://www.bladehq.com/item--Benchmade-Mini-Infidel--4803 |

Sucks, cause I'm not able to handle it. So, good price, go for it you think? A NIB one recently sold in EE for $240. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_115/1317702_Fs_NIB_BENCHMADE_MINI_INFIDEL__240_shipped.html |

That's full MSRP, actual street price is way less than that. I see them used under $300 fairly regularly in much better shape. |

I agree its priced too high for that condition.
Check out the Microtech Ultratech. Its a better knife and better price in comparison. http://www.bladehq.com/item--Microtech-Ultratech--7272 |

A good idea for knife prices (or anything else for that matter) is to seach eBay's sold listings.
It will give you a pretty good idea what stuff sells for. Except someone paid $45 for a Benchmade deep carry clip that Benchmade would give you for free if you call them.

It's like the knife equivalent of armslist. It's a great place to sell though
