So, my beloved GF decided to wash a dog leash in the washing machine since the puppy that the kids had got had parvo. Now, the leash is stuck under the agitator and I for the life of me can't figure out a way to get it out or the leash unstuck. Anyone with some first hand knowledge able to help with getting the agitator off or some tips on getting the leash unstuck? GE Washer GLWN5050M0WS So far, google hasn't been any help.

Looks like you need to remove the fabric softener dispenser and then a hex head 1/4 20 to lift the agitator/pulsator off.

look like you rotate counter clockwise about 60deg and lift it right up. |
