Anyone else get this email?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello again, We have about 40 NEW post sample DIAS sears made of steel to correct specs and very nice. These are DAW sears. ATF would not let these transfer without a letter. I will transfer these to a PD or govt agency for FREE. At least that way they dont have to be destroyed. So - I am in hopes that you may work with a department who could use these. We will start paper work right away. - Frank -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Free Auto Sears just to save them from destruction! |

They're offering to transfer to a LE agency, and noting that they cannot go anywhere else without a demo letter. Assuming this person has the correct type of FFL, there's nothing inherently suspicious about the e-mail. except for the email send to a random email address. or was it random? hmmmmm...... |

The sears are registered posties, and he has an ad up for them on sturm. |

Maybe a sting where they send that email to random emails they gathered, and hope to get a reply like "Well, I'm not an agency, but I'd like a few if we could work something else out". Then they reply "Well, I'm not supposed to........but what the hell, why not?". And then they tell you a price, and you agree to pay it, and then you're fucked. Or maybe my tinfoil is on too tight. I got an email through Arfcom from another member asking about the "full auto parts kits" and if I had any left for sale. Weird stuff, considering I never had any. |

pfft . . . If you got back on Alibaba 4-5 years ago you could mail order auto sears for glocks ARs directly from China.
Same deal with billet lowers unserialized . . . That got shut down quickly though . . .
Actually surprised now that the State Department didn't leave them up and just nail people who bought them and then fabricated news stories about evil machine guns coming into the states on Alibaba. |

Wait you have a tank and you don't know what a DIAS is? I call BS! Quoted:
I have no idea what a DIAS sear is. Wait you have a tank and you don't know what a DIAS is? I call BS! Hes commenting on the fact that "sear" after "DIAS" is unneeded. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
