| It's eating my Bookmark Bar bookmarks. Only the ones I want to keep on the web page. |

Chrome decided to fuck my shit up at work yesterday.
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=373181 Dunno about your bookmarks. |

Seems like the last few iterations have been a buggy goat fuck.
I've seen massive slowdowns with lots of bookmarks (like a 15 second pause once you start typing til the browser responds), massive runaways on memory use (on Windows and Mac, using various shockwave/flash plugins), javascript issues, etc. This has been on two macs (through 4 versions of Chrome) and Windows 7 as well. None of them seem to handle lots of browser windows open; up to 200 tabs open across say three windows shouldn't be an issue with 32GB of RAM, but you can definitely see a performance degradation over time (note I did not say a degradation coincident with the number of tabs). |

I rarely use Chrome. The built-in PDF viewer is easily disabled but it's a constant source of trouble for me as other users try to print a PDF and it never works right - so they're calling me all the time and just getting them to the chrome://plugins page is a chore. In fact, as far as I can tell Chrome's biggest weakness is printing in general. Firefox still rules. |
