I thought I would post a pic of my Dad. He would be the captain in the far left in the stylish Raybans. Pic dates to April 1962. The story is my Dad's unit was in charge of hosting the three Middle Eastern officers (I think they were from Iran or Saudi Arabia). This was the Thursday before Easter ; all the US troops assumed that they would be getting a long weekend because of the holiday,but the ME officers pitched a fit and they had to view an exercise. You can see how thrilled everybody looks to be there. |
