GD are we still allowed to go there?
I know we no longer go to Chipotle, Arbys, Chilis, Applebees, Starbucks, Jack in the Box, etc due to OTC ruining it but is Chick Fil A a-ok? Reason I ask is I stopped in to eat there today and was blown away by how clean it was, how professional the staff was, and how nice everything is. The spicy chicken sandwich is quite good. Even had a little old lady coming around asking if we needed refils and cleared our table. I cant keep up with all the boycotts but am I GTG? |

I like Chik Fila A, but I always get a massive headache shortly after eating the regular chicken sandwich. I don't get it with the chargrilled sandwich, so I suspect it has something to do with the fried chicken. A guy I work with is the same way. He said it has something to do with the MSG. |

Chick-fil-A has 1,775 US stores.
KFC has 4,491 US stores. Last year Chick-fil-A had $5B in sales and KFC had $4.22B in sales and that's with Chick-fil-A being closed on Sunday. To anyone that went to both chains last year those numbers are extremely easy to believe. http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2014-03-28/chick-fil-a-stole-kfcs-chicken-crown-with-a-fraction-of-the-stores |

Why do you think "we" are boycotting "Chipotle, Arbys, Chilis, Applebees, Starbucks, Jack in the Box, etc due to OTC ruining it"? Just because some OCT 'tards caused those restaurants to ask people not to open carry in their restaurants by 'tarding around doesn't mean you can't CCW there (unless posted, and I don't patronize posted places)? I lined out "Sixbucks" because their pretentious coffee sucks (I've always had better espresso and espresso drinks in roadside rest stops in Italy - when "Sixbucks" gets to that level, I might go there). And Craplebees sucks. |

If you boycott any of the 6 establishments that banned OC due to OCT you are as big of a moron at the OCT people. Business is Business. take it out on snowboots and company not the businesses. Show me where they BANNED anything. They requested that people not open carry. There is a huge difference between open carrying a AR15 and a handgun. |

What I'd like to know is how they manage to keep their employees so happy. Every time I go, every worker there is smiling, joking, laughing (and most importantly, working). They are always polite, articulate, well-dressed, and well spoken. They put opium in the chicken batter. |

As in, there was a line of cars all the way around, and then a line of cars outside of them all the way around the inner line of cars going out to the street. Crazy. I have never seen that at a fast food place, ever. I pulled back out and went to the next one which is about a mile further. It had about 7 cars ahead of me. They do a kick-ass business. Good for them.

They are always polite, articulate, well-dressed, and well spoken. I've wondered that myself. I mean even when it's really slow and there is only a single young person working the front with only one customer in the store they are still extremely nice and act genuinely happy to be there. |

They are ultra, ultra selective when choosing franchise managers/owners (I don't think owners is technically accurate); the number I heard was 1,000 applicants for every potential store opening. That level of selectivity usually carries through when the manager is hiring. |

They are always polite, articulate, well-dressed, and well spoken. They are very selective about whom they hire. I worked at one in high school. It was hard work, and it sometimes sucked, but overall, they were good people. Most everybody had their heads on straight, even if things got a little rowdy sometimes. Hey, we were mostly teenagers on the evening shift. Day shift was older employees. |
