Ive never seen one with and allen bolt. All mine are flat head. But that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I had a Gen 1 rear MBUS that came with an allen bolt. It sort of always bothered me that my front sight, that I bought about a year or so later had a flat-head, and the bolts didn't match.
Also, my AFG2 has some sort of weird shiny hybrid flat-head/allen bolt that is stamped "Magpul USA" on it. Both purchased from the same reputable place that I've purchased most of my other Magpul goodies from. All my other Gen 2 MBUS's have the flat-head though. |
