Maybe. Could be first gen.

Ive never seen one with and allen bolt.  All mine are flat head. But that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Does not look like any of mine.

Hard to tell but Magpul will answer in the industry forum.

And where exactly is that? They retail for more like $55 at reputable places.

I had a Gen 1 rear MBUS that came with an allen bolt.  It sort of always bothered me that my front sight, that I bought about a year or so later had a flat-head, and the bolts didn't match.

Also, my AFG2 has some sort of weird shiny hybrid flat-head/allen bolt that is stamped "Magpul USA" on it.  Both purchased from the same reputable place that I've purchased most of my other Magpul goodies from.

All my other Gen 2 MBUS's have the flat-head though.

You got lucky, just like many others with your Botach order.
Just as many (if not more) have been not so lucky. Including me.
I'll leave it at that since this isn't a Botach thread.
