| I am a life long cycle rider. Currently have an RC51 & GSXR750. Most of my sport bike rider buddies are firearms enthusiasts as well. I figure there are more than a few on the AR15 Forum. Am I correct? |

Well, let me be the first Harley rider to weigh in. I've got a 1200 Sportster Sport, and my girlfriend rides a hugger. I'd love a hayabusa, but fast vehicles just get me in trouble. Hell, I even drive my slow Harley and slow pickup truck as fast as I can, so I think its best to limit myself, lol. |

Bikes rule! I currently ride a 2000 Suzuki SV650Y. Great all around bike. Wheelies are waaaaaay too easy. Awesome torque and techno goodies, especially for the size and price ($6800). Wish I had never sold my 92 CR250. I sold it before I had a chance to race it. Funny story.....before I had the CR I did try racing an 83 Suzuki RM125 in AMA Dist. 16 Vintage class. Everybody else in the class was on a 90-94 250 of some sort. Doh! Between lack of power and ancient suspension, I got creamed and finished last, but came in ahead of two fellow squids that DNF'd by crashing. I did make the first turn in 13th place of about 25 riders. That is a pretty good start against all those 250's. The adrenaline rush rules! If I had $50 for every wrecked Huyabusa story I have heard since they were introduced, I could probably take the money and buy another bike! Seems everytime I hear "Huyabusa" it's in the same sentence as "crash". I am considering a Hog with a windshield next. They are awesome bikes for relaxed highway cruising. |

Well this thread made me take a picture of my Suzuki Intruder 1500 and post it. The weather is so nice, I think I'll fire up Big Yellow and take a ride. See you'all later, |

[blue]18 year rider, and a racer for the last 4 years. Racing is my true love but only as a hobby. Us "old" 33 year olds are no match for the 18 to 22 year old stars. I currently own a '92 Honda CBR600F2 (that I bought new and don't have the heart to get rid of) and I race a 2000 CBR600F4. Me! --> http://www.cbr600f4.com/gallery/CBR600F4/afj I also own a Yamaha Zumma scooter (SOOOO much fun and a great little pit bike!) Will be adding a cruiser to the stable this year. Either the Yamaha Warrior or the Honda VTX 1800.[/blue] |

Lifelong rider. This is my current ride. 1992 Honda Shadow 1100 Custom paint Shaved rear turn signals and incorporated into tail light Jardine drag pipes Progressive suspension Mustang seat Chrome here and there Chainmaille on the seat and gas tank - over 3000 stainless steel links (made by me) More hours and sweat into this to ever allow me to sell it - it was pretty trashed when I bought it. Hey, I have met Zina before! Up at Palomar back in 97 or 98. She has that California Motorcycle law webpage. She is really nice. How old is California Cycle Works? Is it that small shop between Camino Ruiz and the back gate of Miramar? I remember there being a small shop there that sold crappy used bikes and way overpriced parts. Kind of like every other bike shop in San Diego. [BD] I am suprised to see someone from San Diego who races and dosen't worship at the alter of Lee's Cycle. [x] I have a few friends who race and wrench at Willow. It's been a long time since I have been out to Willow to watch a race. Here is a shot of me, my 90 FZR1000 and a couple of my friends up at the rock store. As soon as I get a job I'm gonna get a bike... (my race number is 667 and i race with the WSMC) read my race reports here: www.ducatitech.com we've also got a couple of dirty bikes... :) chris in sandy eggo |

3rd generation dirt biker, I've been riding since the age of 5. Have had countless bikes over the years. Currently I have a garage full of Yamahas. I pretty sure my next street bike will be a Ducati. Street: '02 Yamaha RS Warrior 1700cc (2 ea.) | Been riding for over 35 years. Current bike has been in the family since new in 1980. It's a Susuki GS 750 L. With Windjammer fairing and custom single rider shoulder height back rest. This set-up is the sole reason i can still ride(bad back). If it should croak on me it will be a little hard to replace. Odometer quit working around 14 years ago,so have no idea how many miles it has on it! Took it to bike shop at around 40,000 miles to have original chain replaced. Mechanic was spinning rear wheel looking for master link to remove old chain ,while i was explaining how many miles were on it. He gave me that(right buddy,i really believe you've got that many miles on this chain look) His expression changed when he realized it was the original continuous chain that came on the bike from the factory!!! Ben P.S. The old girl still has lots of get up and go. |

Lotta great bikes all! (as if we'd turn down *any* bike) Had an elephant k100rs with 160k on the clock. Only major parts were a rad fan ($80), and a set of plug wires ($300). Love the klr650, and regret selling it. Will get another one. Couple track schools - if you love to ride, sign up for one/several! Bike Week a few times, and coast-coast blasts. Currently ride 916/busa. Backed out of an R1 after spending time on it - had title problem. Check out http://www.cycleforums.com/forums/index.php?referrerid=1380. Good people and forums. Boss Hoss? These posts contain numbers: http://www.cycleforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6677&perpage=10&highlight=boss&pagenumber=1. Not a pissing match - am afraid of crunching that much heft. Bikes, guns, cars, women - you guys, and life, are great! Throttle on! |
