You bought a Noveske barrel and the gas block came installed with the pin in, and already seated, so it wasn't like trying to drive a railroad spike into a anvil when you tried to insert the fucker on the virgin pinning.
Also remember when you ordered a LaRue rail and all the fucking parts came with it, and if they didn't and you called and asked for the missing Anti rotation plate and bolts, they didn't tell you that you must have lost them and they were surely in there before begrudgingly sending you the missing parts. TIMES DONE CHANGED. Evidently I've some catching up to do.
