robotic head removal.

Seeking a more humane method of carrying out capital punishment, Ohio’s new machine yanks inmates heads from their bodies using painless, powerful robotic claws.

The Onion wouldn't get this wrong, would they?

There have been a few cases recently where I'd be 100% OK with this method.

Funny video, but still

Sounds like Ohio lets build a machine that cost 1million dollars that was really perfected 1000 years ago and can still be built for $100

That video is funny.

But, why not just bleed people out? Insert two IV's, put hose's in bucket. Blood loss causes a person to become tired and sleepy (feeling). After going into shock and losing consciousness, the prisoner would arrest and be DRT.

Best of all it cheap and the witnesses can stay for blood pudding.

Done deal if they can find it at a price that would pass their budget restrictions.

having ones head ripped from their body by powerful robotic claws doesnt really sound painless

but I would think it would be appropriate in certain cases
