It's amazing to me the degree of agitation people reach when arguing the correctness of their belief system. Especially pertaining to religion, politics, economics.
But also high on the list, self defense systems, cooking and nutrition, exercise for fitness, best caliber for deer hunting, and men's fashion and grooming. Feel free to list more. |

Yet she is the most emotionally mature person I know. It's less about emotional maturity, and more about how closely a person's identity is wrapped up in the belief. If I find my identity in Belief X (my faith is in that thing), then I will have a difficult time separating an attack on that belief from a personal attack. |
