That his Carbon-15 is a plastic piece of shit and he should get an AR15 with an aluminum receiver, without being rude? ![]() |

He actually talks/brags about how "good" it is. Because it's "so light" and such. ![]() |

Quoted: I would just say, be careful I've heard many horror stories about the lowers breaking. I wasn't even thinking about that. I just got the impression it's a fucking pile of garbage by shooting it, holding it in my hands, and seeing how different it feels compared to inserting a magazine into it vs a real AR15 lower receiver. |

He'll probably want to get another one and he'll see the light then. Unless he likes holding plastic. |

I wouldn't have any problems telling a friend that their rifle is a POS. Actually, I probably wouldn't let them buy one in the firs place
IMHO, it's better to come off as a dick at first and go ahead and nip the "new guy" tendencies in the butt early on than to just let it slide and end up with a disappointed friend when his plastic AR breaks. |

A friend of mine had one, and the pistol grip screw threads stripped out when he was changing the pistol grip. Bushmaster replaced the lower...after a 6 month wait. |

Have him hold a Colt. The last Colt I shot was a colossal piece of shit. ![]() My 6920 is every bit as good as any AR-15 I've used as far as function. Never had a single malfunction or anything out of it. I do kind of prefer my BCM though.

Some folks just feel the need to be different.
You know the guy- He drives a Dodge instead of a Chevy , owns a M&P instead of a Glock , prefers the 9 over a 45. (anybody else I can piss off? Don't worry about it , he will get tired of it or break it , or just keep on using it to piss you off , not like he is walking around with his dick hanging out of his pants. Give him a few hints if you must then leave it alone |

If your AR mated with a G36... |

The Carbon 15 was my first AR15. Never had a single issue with it and it shoots great. I since have another standard one, but nothing at all wrong with the Bushymaster Carbon 15. And begins the next 12 pages of bitching. I suppose now is a good time to start boozing. |
