Is the kid that good or has he just been lucky? I've heard some say, they let him win because its good for NASCAR, which I call bullshit.

I doubt any of the other drivers made any money letting him pass them

With the new rule package   win and your in the chase... no one is letting anyone one win.  like when dale jarret let ricky craven get his first win

If the kid was in sprint cup races he would be a fantasy pick also any body that beats cryle is top shelf in my book

The kid can wheel, that's a fact, my question is how good is he at losing. With his dad and all his connections, money, and knowledge behind him, he's probably never been in anything that wasn't top notch stuff. Which on a Saturday night short track can mean a lot of wins over better drivers in lesser equipment, and disappointment once the field gets level

ETA: He has been competitive against top tier guys in Nationwide, so he very well may be the realbdeal

It would be a lot harder to fake a win at Darlington than some other places they could have picked.

NAPA did real well with picking this kid to sponsor, his dad was a class act, he seems to take after him. After getting tied to that fucking douche bag Michael Waltrip, I am surprised NAPA came back to the sport.

Its my understanding the K&N stuff was not top notch resulting in only one win. Winning the Snowball two times even with good equipment is a feat in itself.
