Does anyone on here play Left 4 Dead on 360? I consider this one of the best games for 360 ever, and still play it regularly. If anyone plays, or has played and wants to start back up post your gamertag. If you have never played it and you wanna try a really fun game post your gamertag. And get boom juice squirted on you bitch.

Hella fun, but I kinda got tired of it. Bill and Nick are my favorites, BTW. Quoted: L4D3 comes out soon, unfortunately I've given up video games for a more "zen" life. I figured $60 on a video game = a lot of fun at the range. Wait 6 months to a year and buy it on Steam sale for 75+% off. Saves a ton of money. |

It's astonishing that a game from 2008 still fills lobbies regularly. Besides it's multiplayer that I'm talking about, I could see campaign getting old really quick but multiplayer is like chess, same characters same guns same maps but every single game plays out way differently. I feel like in most FPS like COD and Halo it's more hand/eye coordination and seeing things quickly and reacting. This game is more about playing as a team because you literally cannot do anything by yourself, its a much different dynamic in multiplayer than any other game I've played. For me, that is why it's lasted so long. I only tried L4D2 for a short time and hated it. Every few months I hear a L4D3 rumor, I hope one is true sooner or later.

I used to play L4D and L4D2 with two other guys on PC years ago. It was a real blast... the thing I liked the most was that the game was mutliplayer cooperative, not every man for himself kill everyone you see. That and that the game would automatically nerf itself or jump its own shit depending on how good it thought you were playing. There were some games that felt too easy and then suddenly the game would take a giant shit on you.
Personally I preferred 2 to 1, mostly due to the added special weapons and melee stuff. Katana and a SCAR for the win. |

HOLY SHIT I thought I was the only one who played that game. I know kung fu? Quoted:

I still play Land of the Dead, Road to fiddlers green :/ Talk about old ![]() HOLY SHIT I thought I was the only one who played that game. I know kung fu? I used to play that like crazy back in the day.. and hosted a server for a few years.. |

I play L4D2 on PC.
If you are tired of regular L4D2, try Versus. It's a whole different game and you have to relearn how to play as not everything you learned from Campaign mode carries over. If you are tired of "the same four maps" there are now easy to install community generated maps available. I'm Trebor on Steam. Feel free to friend me up. I'm the Trebor with an UZI as my avator. |

2008 called and wants its game back. '08 predates the current Call of Duty craze. Things were better then. No it doesn't. CoD 4 was '07, genesis. Granted it was fresh and new then. I miss when video games were fun. I'm afraid I've all but given up on them. |

Pretty sure WAW was the same as well. It wasn't 4 iterations deep (or however many) and shifted every single fucking FPS towards CoD style shooter. Some things about CoD are fantastic, like weapon realism in manipulation and proportion, but it's changed the FPS industry forever. |

I play l4d2 on PC, co op rocks. Most players suck though. It would be good
to have a real motivated team because it's a real rush when your team makes it all the way through the gauntlet. In the good old days when people took it seriously, there was nothing better. |

It's astonishing that a game from 2008 still fills lobbies regularly. Left4Dead??? CounterStrike 1.6 is still played fanatically to this day and I was playing that fucking game from beta 5 in like 1998. Last time I checked there were still thousands of servers going. Battlefield 2 still has a few servers going and it started in 2003. |

Not to hijack, but if you have a PC and decent GPU and CPU, download steam and buy Day Z. Look it up. Yeah, too bad it's over complicated drek. Three foot tall Jersey barriers are akin to the Great Wall of China because someone thought it was a good idea to omit the "Jump" function. Want to look down your sights? Is that click right click or hold it? Want to get into that car? Okay, six commands later, you're behind the wheel. Arma is shit, and because they used that engine, it made DayZ suck too. There were SOOOOOOOOOOO many better choices they could have gone with. Stalker, Crisis, Cryengine, etc would have been better choices. Having to fight the zombie hordes is hard enough, but being forced to fight shitty control schemes just hurts gameplay. Don't get me wrong, the DayZ idea is a great one, and I love the feel of it. It's just that Arma sucks so bad that literally nobody bought that fucking game for any reason BUT to play DayZ. |

Games have a halflife measured in hours on consoles, so I guess there's something that can be said for any game living that long in that market. |

Quoted: That game from 2008 still stomps a mudhole in most FPS that come out these days. Fast paced, tense, team-based and energetic with solid gameplay beats the fuck out of shiny but retarded. I enjoyed playing it and the sequel. I never played multiplayer though, as I never saw the point in paying for an XBOX live membership for the privilege of getting my ass kicked by shit talking 10 year olds Multi-player is where that game shines. If you have 4 guys with a lan setup it is a totally different game. It actually requires some tactics and teamwork to beat on more difficult levels. Playing with strangers can be a pain in the ass though because often you get either a selfish person in the group, or someone that won't communicate and it makes life hard for the rest of the team. |

Though from what I hear they've fixed quite a lot of the gripes people had, though I can't say for sure that they have, so I'm hesitant to get into it for fear that it'll suck. |
