And no doubt some person with an agenda that is more important than anything else confronting the planet right now will manage to stink up the whole deal for the decent people who are trapped behind enemy lines. Chick Fil A will quite simply change the way you look at how a fast food place should run. And the food's as good as it gets in fast food land. |

I dont think they will be able to find any locals that fit their criteria to work there. 87% of New Yorkers are assholes. That said I have been to 5 star $100 per plate restaurants with less customer service than chick-fil-a I love that place. You know, I've been to New York City 3 times, and just about every one I met there was pretty nice. Much nicer than Mississippi, where my mom's side of the family is from. |

I saw it posted on this forum, in a different thread. A poster said he believed their chicken was breaded with sugar. I never had Chik-fil-a until a couple months ago when one near me was built. I have to say I agree. No wonder people go nuts over it. I don't know about sugar, but their breading has pickle juice in it. |

I dont think they will be able to find any locals that fit their criteria to work there. Even more critically, I don't know if they will be able to find franchisees who meet CFA's standards in that part of the country. Chik-fil-A is very, very particular about who gets to have a store. |

Yes, they are, but their standards are serving them well. |

There are plenty of successful, religious folks in the region. If there's money to be made, someone will fit the bill.

mmm.... hate chicken! Not so much any more. Apparently, with the expansion to all of the US, the owner is "rethinking" his position on gay marriage and such. Either that, or he's just decided not to comment on it anymore, according to some article I read a few days ago. |

There's no CFA here, but it seems like every time I fly through the Atlanta airport (where there IS one), it's a Sunday and I can't partake.

The numbers I've heard are anywhere from 800 to 1,000 franchise applicants for every store they want to open. Yeah, you can be pretty choosy with those kinds of numbers. |

Don't get me wrong, this atheist loves him some Chick fil-A nuggets. |

From the sourced article:
"Reaction among New Yorkers was mixed. “I don’t agree with them hating on the gays, but their chicken is delicious,” said Bobby Allen, 21, of Brooklyn." Just because a person does not believe that homos should marry or that their lifestyle is abnormal is not HATE. Hate is what we get from liberals every day. They just use transference/projection to try to divert attention from themselves. The correct term is "homosexual" not "gay." |
|
“We’re not convinced that Chick-fil-A understands what it means to truly serve their employees and customers with the full respect they deserve,” said Nathan Shaefer, executive director of the gay-rights group Empire State Pride Agenda. What a complete and utter fucking imbecile. He must have been fucked so long and hard in the ass that his brain has repetitive impact damage. Of ANY chain in the whole country, CFA understands customer service. But hey, when your life and every issue in it revolve around your sexuality, I suppose thats the kind of drivel that you spew. |

Just because a person does not believe that homos should marry or that their lifestyle is abnormal is not HATE. And yet many here on GD use the same language. If you don't agree with their idea of marriage you hate gays or you're anti-gay. I don't think it's a coincidence that they sound like liberals. |
