Quoted: Trooper with python barrell ? Quoted: Quoted: Careful, I bought what was sold to me as a 4" colt python only to find out it's not really a python.... Lesson learned as I'm not a revolver guy ![]() Trooper with python barrell ? I wouldn't pay what they want for python these days. I'd rather get an older S&W. |

Quoted: I understand your hesitation Op, its at that price where its not quite good enough to jump on no questions asked but its low enough that you will kick yourself in the ass when you go back in a couple days and its already gone. Fo Hammer, meet nail. That is exactly my dilemma. ![]() |

Guys, you really can find Pythons for A bit over a grand that are nice. They won't likely have the box and they will be in the 6" length but they are out there. There is no way a pitted and 85% Python is worth over a grand. This one ran me just over a grand and I bought it at a gun show not all that long ago. They are out there. The exceptionally nice and rarer models [barrel lengths and such] with the box and PW are what command the higher prices, don't get caught up in the game of people wanting top dollar just because they look at those models and price their worn standard 6" barreled one for the same money. http://i58.tinypic.com/10oemae.jpg[/url] If I EVER come across one like that for $1k or less I'll have it. The few I've seen for sale like that have all been $1500 and upwards. |
