I watched the Blu Ray again and just noticed that the director was Joss Whedon.
I knew it was good for some reason. Well and

For those of you that don't know, his little brother Zack Whedon has a brand new Firefly/Serenity comic series out.
It is fantastic. It picks up where the movie left off and reads like a TV series. I would love to see AMC buy the rights and air the new series. Don't say it can't happen becuase there is money to be made there. |

Joss Whedon, despite his own personal beliefs, seems to possess both the ability to tell a great story as well as the ability to separate his own biases from those stories.
How else do you explain someone creating such a great character as Malcolm Reynolds, all while holding what are basically antithetical views to said characters. The Avengers was amazing, much better than I ever dared hope it would be. I absolutely cannot wait to see Winter Soldier. Cap is easily my favorite super-hero, and while movie Cap isn't quite the same characters as comics Cap, he's still awesome.
