Here is my brother in law Rod. He drove down last night for the holidays from Colorado. Today is his birthday. He didn't get a party and he's already lost $880 today on the Denver Broncos and the over. The above picture is him cliff-hanging over the $800 more he just laid on the Jets and the over.

Can everyone please comment on what a worthless degenerate he is. He thinks that it's normal to be miserable every moment of every sports event televised.

He is without a doubt a certified FREAK!!
How can you bet that kind of money on sports and be considered a smart person? Think of the guns or ammo he could have bought and had some real fun.

A simple $5 bet would have been fun enough.

You're a bastard of a BIL, Ponyboy, kicking him when he's down.  [:D]

But I do have to ask,
"What the hell were you thinking betting on the Broncs today?  Jeez man, I'm a fan too, but couldn't you see the writing on the wall?"

Well if he loses it will make me feel a lot better about the $1100 I lost on Friday...

And here he is when he saw what I just posted on the net for the world to see!

You don't know Rod, he grew up in Queens. Need I say more?

He could've bought at least two ARs!!!
Or one with plenty to spare for gear and ammo!!!

He doesn't shoot. He can't afford it. HAHAHAHA

You shoulda kicked his arse for $100 and you and he both would be better off for it. What a waste of money.....

Your BIL is an oxymoron - throws money away on betting (sports of all things, at least with Craps you know the house odds) and can't afford to shoot.

Sounds like a prime candidate for "Gamblers Anonymous".

I know he's not married or whis wife would have booted him along time ago.  Dropping 800 bills in a 3 hour telecast is a non-pardonable offense to a woman [:D]

Exactly what I was thinking!
Next time he's got the $$$, get him AWAY from the TV and the games and go buy an AR or two and go shooting.

Geez; some people's children...[;D]

Actually, he just doesn't shoot. I was just making fun of him because he's reading all of this. He couldn't believe that anybody would actually reply.

Yeah, we both agreed on that long ago and he said he would attend a couple of meetings. I bet him that he wouldn't do it. He took the bet and lost. [:D]

He's married and has two kids. He's like me though. We both make all of the money and can blow it if we want. My wife thinks I throw away money on guns.

Dumb ass lossing money like that during the holidays.

Hey, why not visit your relatives and show them
you have a drug and drinking problem too!

Who doesn't have a drinking problem? [;)]

The main reason he came down is so we could head to Biloxi for a couple of days for some poker. Anybody else up for a road trip Wednesday? He's my gambling buddy. I'm just not stupid enough to lose a grand on my birthday. By the looks of the Jet game he'll probably only lose juice today anyway.

I bet he talks funny to being from Queens.

I can see gambling on dogs, horses, any casino game, or the outcome of a political election, but sports?   There are losers, and there are real losers, and then there are the losers who bet on team sports.

Fortunately, it's a form of loserism that can be cured simply by stopping.   Get thee to the dog track!  The bets are smaller and the dogs are much more intelligent than the ball players!

If he can afford to lose the cash. Its cool.

If he cant afford to take you out for a nice dinner to say thanks for all the love you have shown over the holidays by letting him stay in the nursery. I say he is a Loser

Gambling is just what it says...  I don't play to lose.  A fair match is fine but I work too hard for my money to give it up on chance.  If possible, in real life, I ALWAYS 'stack the cards' in my favor.

I wish...I'm probably not gonna get to go. I was supposed to be off until the 2nd but they're wanting to bring up one of my lines and if they can get enough manufacturing operators to work I've got to be there to support it.

They're supposed to call me and let me know either way, so it depends on when they make the decision and the call comes in if I get to go to the shoot or not.

Keep Rod away from firearms.  Anyone foolish enough to throw money away on gambling probably cannot be trusted around anything pointed or otherwise dangerous.  Unless a person is outrageously rich, there is NO justification for $800 bets on anything!  Tell Rod to get help or get the hell off your bed!

No bets over $10 would be a good New Years resolution for this guy.

Now, I can't tell Rod anything about making outrageously high wagers. I'm a gambling man myself and if I said anything to him that would just make me a hypocrit.

I just like telling him how stupid he is for continuing to bet on sports when he is the biggest loser I know.

He actually makes decent money playing high limit poker.

After all the jabs at the amount of his bet I'm not even gonna mention the biggest bet I've ever made, and lost by the way. [:D]
