Good for you miss.
It's funny that you call him miss because he's enjoying tea, cause, it's like feminine to drink tea.

Wait...
No it's not...
It's dumb.  It's dumb what you said and you should feel bad.

I drink tea way more then coffee and have a cup each morning, not a huge fan of herbal teas.

Teas have a huge variety of complex flavors

I was just kidding anyway. I love chai tea, I make it with a bunch of sugar and cream. Still had to say it.

Earl Grey tea is best tea though.

I had some Tazo Chai a couple years ago.  It got me way hyper, like it made me nervous.  Because caffeine usually doesn't do that to me.
Sadly, I have been unable to reproduce the effect.
Maybe I was drugged.

You do know "chai" is just the Chinese/Russian/etc etc etc word for "tea", right?

That's like having some aqua water. Or some vino wine. Or using an automatic teller machine machine.

Big Lots had mega-stocks of Tazo Chai a couple of years ago. $2 a box. Never had chai before.
Steeped the tea and added steamed milk, a little bit of honey, and then sprinkled garam masala over the top.

Good stuff. A nice break from coffee drinks.

There were two Chinese women where the wife worked. The oldest would
normally just drink hot water. It was what they could afford when she was little

and she got used to it.

The other one gave me two packs of the tea she drinks. One looks like small pine

needles and you have to let it steep for a while if you want to see any color to it.

The other you looks like small balls of leaves you toss in the cup and by the time

you are halfway through, they have reconstituted to the point they look like

fresh leaves. Very light tea also.

Personally I like PG Tips and Earl gray creame from Teavana.

The chai in Afghanistan just gave me the shits.  Then we started bringing our own water, and it wasn't bad.

I never cared much for tea until I got to Iraq.

It pretty much jaded me on what tea is.
The way they brew it, and add cardamon is pretty unique, and add in a half a pound of sugar per tiny glass it really gets you going for the day.

I used to sit with some older Iraqi's at the Musayib power plant occasionally.  We'd play cards, talk in pigeon English, and drink chai for a few hours.  They'd tell be stories of growing up in Iraq Pre-Saddam.  It sounded pretty amazing especially in the 40's and 50's.

It's funny, because I've always heard the expression "I don't have time for weak tea".
Now it really makes sense.

I know, it was a play off him saying "It's just a word for tea" like the word Chai only means tea, and the context of how it's made does not change based on the country of origin.

The Chinese call this 'white tea'. A lot of people in my office drink it to stay warm (air con is set at western standards which is cold by local standards). Also, interestingly, the Chinese (along with a lot of people in Asia) think drinking cold water is bad for your health.
