We're starting a winery/microbrewery this fall and I need a logo primarily for the brewing side. Something that would look good on t-shirts and ballcaps. The name of the place is Lazy Horse Brewing and Lazy Horse Vineyard. I'd like it to be a little edgy and nothing like a typical winery design. The winner will receive a shirt or a hat or both and a sample or two.
The more awesome the deal is the better the reward is. |

A con would be, say, having a designer come up with some concepts, taking the one you like to a cheaper design house and having them tidy it up while stiffing the guy you were working with. Or just having him do the work and flat out not paying him. He's presented what he has to offer, it's up to anyone here if they want to do the work for enjoyment, for the community, because they know the OP, or whatever. He's not forcing anyone to do it and not misrepresenting or withholding payment. Free trade, how the fuck does that work. |

I've had Macman37 do some logo work for me and was very pleased with the work and at a very reasonable price. Logos tend to be something you want done right the first time, not saying an open competition is a bad thing though. Also, have you thought of renaming it the "lazy peep brewhouse"?

The guy I worked with took exactly nothing from what I thought I wanted to logo to be, and created a simple, incredibly kick ass logo for me that I still use and was only about a bazillion times better than what I had envisioned. |
