Ordered a new subframe for my yamaha raptor about two weeks ago from eBay. it shipped on the third and the expected delivery day was today. it's coming from Massachusetts and somehow it got to the sorting facility in Springfield, left, then reentered the sorting facility in Springfield and it's been sitting there since Saturday. here's the tracking number tracking
WTF USPS |
| In my experience from buying stuff here and off ebay items seem to get to a destination quicker if it's going west to east. The weekend isn't helping your shipment either. It should have an update tomorrow. Like the others said USPS's tracking system is a joke and I cannot believe they keep it alive. |

BTDT.
They had a small package for me, and it was scanned as departing from the sort facility in Allen Park, MI. Then, nine (9) days later, it was scanned departing Allen Park again. I guess they drove it around the parking lot for a week +2 days. It did eventually get delivered. Was very glad it wasn't something expensive. What a circus. |

To all the guys saying its just that the tracking sucks.
The tracking does, and always has sucked. But ever since the first of the year, there has been a whole other clusterfuck going on. Up until this january, I got every single priority package I ever ordered in 2 days. Flew straight into Dulles VA, hit my local PO in the morning, then got here. I've ordered 5 things since 01/01/14 and not a single one has arrived on time. Some up to 9 or 10 days late on 2 day Priority. Shit seems to be going on a tour of the east coast every time these days. |

My USPS packages seem to be suffering from east coast lag.
Stuff going out and coming from everything west of my location has been on time and the tracking has been accurate. Everything coming from the east of me has been late with tracking that either never updates or appears to go in circles. I was blaming the cockpunch weather the east coast has been getting. |

Another csb...I took a small box to the post office, and since it weighed nothing, I figured it would be cheaper than a medium flat rate. It came out to $9 and the guy behind the counter said, "Hold on, I can make it cheaper." He takes out a plastic envelope and manages to stretch it around the box. He almost dropped a nut with the effort it took, but he managed to seal the envelope. He weighed it again, punched some buttons, and got a new total. $7.80.
Imagine that. Add a redundant layer of packaging and a few minutes more in labor, and the price goes down. It's like they divided by zero. |

Getting really pissed with USPS. I had a package that their tracking system says was delivered on Friday, yet.......no package.
Went to the local P.O. to see what was up. The one guy who was there gave the deer/headlights look and gave me a local number of another local facility that does all the shipping. I've been calling for the past hour and it's busy the whole time, like somebody left the phone off the hook. Tried calling the national number posted on their website and was on hold for 30min before I gave up. Highly pissed right now. |
