What happened to the dirty guitar? It's gone....it is now an acoustic version?

I agree.

Maybe I'm hearing things....I dunno. My old band use to cover the song so I'm pretty familiar with it.

It does not sound like an acoustic version....it sounds like the same exact song remastered with the dirty guitars cut out.

The acoustic cut has been around a long time. The original recording from Churn is also closer to that version.

The record company wanted it to sound more like west coast grunge; hence the American Standard version.

The whole album American Standard was awesome! They still tour and I've wanted to go but they only go as far West as Vegas and I just haven't made it happen yet.
